Today I received QSL cards from print shop. Direct requests will be mailed tomorrow. I will try to send bureau cards next Tuesday.
Many thanks to Keith N4ZQ who has found an error on QSL card. Clearwater Island should have locator EL87ox (not EL80ox as printed). I am going to correct wrong data on QSL labels.

I am very glad to work many European stations. Especially I experienced nice activity of Polish hams. Almost every 10th station was from SP.

Wrong ITU zone in log uploaded to LoTW

I have just found that in most QSOs uploaded to LoTW the number of ITU zone is 6 instead of 8. Sorry for my mistake. I will contact LoTW admins to check if it can be corrected.

Nice opening on 10m

Today I worked 10m and had a nice opening to Europe. It gave me a chance to work many European stations. Tomorrow I am leaving from Clearwater but I am going to work 2-3 hours from about 1200z. Probably 10m or 12m. Tonight I will try to work PSK-31 on 30m.

Today I was QRV on 15m SSB from 1445Z till 1915Z. At the moment I have a paper log only. I hope to rewrite it in a spare time and upload to Clublog and LoTW. I hope to be QRV tommorow too but not sure what band. Probably 20m or 10m if band is open.

Talbot Island NA-138

I expected to be QRV from Amelia Island today but I found on way very nice place on Talbot Island (the same IOTA reference NA-138) and operated from there. 3.5 h activity and about 200 QSOs. Many of them with European stations. I received nice reports, even over 59. Thanks to all hams for QSOs and hope to meet them from Clearwater Island.

Amelia Island counts for WLOTA award

I will operate from Clearwater Is. from October 15th till 18th. Mainly 20/15/10m SSB. I will also try to work from Amelia Is. (NA-138) sometime between 12th and 14th but exact date is not known yet. Just one or two days operation. In the meantime I will be active phone and digi modes from mainland (Palm Coast, Flagler County, loc. EL99jn).
Fredy DE0MST informed me that Amelia Is. counts to WLOTA™ as 3048. So, I am going to print this reference on QSL card for those who collect WLOTA references.

NA-034 & NA-138

Instead of my planned visit Perhentian Besar Island (AS-073) this year I expect to visit Florida state in the middle of October and operate from Amelia Island (NA-138) and Clearwater Island (NA-034). These groups are not very atractive however they were claimed by less than 50% of IOTA chasers. Still a little bit interesting. For instance, I do not have personally any QSO with NA-138 and only one with NA-034.
Not big deal but I will be happy to have a small pile-up... I am going to operate from beaches with battery powered K3, using Buddipole antenna. See you on air!
